Last Month SquareOne Training’s Daniel McGinley, Sales & Marketing Director, and David Andrews, Client Care Manager, volunteered to be a part of LTSB’s Employment Programme, which focuses on developing key employability skills, critical thinking and interview preparation.
LTSB are a social mobility charity, preparing, connecting and supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds for meaningful roles in major firms. After speaking with Anais from LTSB, the team were offered to take part in mock interviews for aspiring customer service apprentices.
Working with two talented individuals, Daniel and Dave helped build their confidence, refine their interview technique, and give them a realistic sense of what a formal interview environment is like.

Both candidates were outstanding, and it was a pleasure to see their dedication and enthusiasm about the exciting opportunity.
Earlier this week Daniel and David were thrilled to find out that the two young candidates have in fact been offered their desired apprenticeships with NatWest. Rosa from LTSB said ‘I’m also delighted to follow up and share some wonderful news—both young people you supported went on to succeed in their real interviews and are now employed! Your guidance and encouragement truly made a difference.’
With more mock interviews already lined up for June, the team at SquareOne Training are eager and excited to be able to continue to work with LTSB.
‘Being able to play a small part in helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workforce aligns perfectly with SquareOne Training’s values and commitment to inspiring future leaders.’ Said David from SquareOne Training.
The whole team at SquareOne Training are excited to see how their partnership with LTSB will grow and hope to continue making a positive impact in the community and wider, through more opportunities like this in the future.
