SquareOne Training 31st Birthday – A Word From Our Managing Director
It is an honour to announce that SquareOne is now 31 years old today.
I originally started the business to train people how to use Lotus 123, Harvard Graphics, and Aimi Pro. For those of you who don’t know this – they were the industry standard software before Microsoft Office 😂
Our first customer was Compaq, our second was Manweb and our third was STFC (Daresbury) who we still train today.
In the 31 years, we have seen an amazing transformation of skills especially in the last few years where we all needed to work from home. My team has actually been training and teaching remote training since 2010 so we were ready for the transformation- even if the rest of the world wasn’t.
This year has been incredible, and I can’t believe what we have achieved – we have trained thousands of people – over 500 locally and offered fully funded training. We have won the award for under 10 staff Business of the Year for the Wirral. We have a 4.98 score out of 5 for our courses (yes, we now wonder why not a 5 as this is now a strange one for us if under 😊)
We are up for Skills Provider of the Year for Liverpool – we will find out on 26th October 👍
We have new and exciting staff that will help us grow and develop more people.
We have been awarded the top 10 courses for our train the trainer – project management, Excel, and PC awareness courses.
Pretty exciting and very proud of what we have achieved for 31 years…. but what makes us most proud is training you! Without our team, wonderful trainers, and customers it wouldn’t be possible to unlock people’s hidden potential.
