2,000 Users Trained on Skype for Business/Lync


The need to communicate quickly and effectively whilst reducing costs such as travel, call charges and most importantly time - is some of the core benefits of Microsoft Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync that our customers have seen this month.

This powerful package gives users everything they need for conversations in one application such as Instant Messaging (IM), audio and video calls, online meetings and screen sharing.

Skype for Business (Lync) work seamlessly together with the other Microsoft Office Applications, so it is simple to collaborate with a click of a button. The full integration with Outlook Calendars allows users to see the contact card of everyone working in the same organisation, and allow users to see availability status easily, so users can determine whether to communication via email, IM or start a conference call.

You can also schedule meetings from within Outlook and invite users that do not have Skype for Business (Lync) currently installed on their machine. WIFI connection or a mobile phone is all that is needed.

This month we were delighted to be given the contract for 3 major companies, and have delivered different training solutions to 2,000 users all over the UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy.

The Training/Delivery

The training has been a mixture of online training to groups of 30 per session delivered from our UK office/home, classroom training at the customer's premises, 1:1 tailored courses and group seminars.
