Who should attend?

No previous CAD experience is necessary, although drafting, design or engineering experience would be an advantage. During this course you will learn the features, commands and techniques for creating, editing, dimensioning, annotating and printing accurate AutoCAD drawings via face to face teaching or online learning. This course is aimed at Design Professionals or people who are new users of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT, who want to create 2D designs drawings.

Course Objectives

As a result of attending this training, you will be able to create, modify and work with a 2D drawing in the AutoCAD software. Effectively move around a drawing, use AutoCAD’s drafting tools, organise information in your drawing using layers and blocks. You will also be able to output your drawings using different printing and plotting options.

This course is delivered by Platinum Autodesk Approved Trainer. You will receive the official manual, and after completing the course, you can log in to your personal student account and download a Autodesk personal certificate.

Understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface

  • Use basic drawing tools to create simple line drawings
